yoga
For me, yoga is a path to cultivating a mindful approach to life. The practice on the mat, the asanas, is an important part of this. Yoga also invites us to discover its principles and philosophical approaches, which can still unfold their full power in our modern world. The experience on the mat is a gateway to our lives beyond the mat.
The positive effects of yoga are manifold. I personally practiced yoga for many years to alleviate my back pain – and that's perfectly fine. Less tension in the body can also help the mind to calm down. A powerful practice can strengthen our sense of self. We give ourselves space on the mat, and perhaps we can carry some of that feeling into our daily lives.
I am a certified yoga teacher (500h RYT) and currently teach at bamboo yoga in Berlin Karlshorst, as well as at Ikigai Seasons retreats. I also offer private lessons and support yoga teachers as a coach, helping them to teach confidently and authentically.
